05/07/11 Saturday	7th Annual, Gala	Our theme this year is "A Tribute to Mothers." The location is at Howard Training Center, 1424 Stonum Road, off Hatch Road, between Richland Ave and Central Ave in Modesto, CA. Our Door Prize this year is a Shopping Spree worth $200.00 at RC David Interiors located at 1501 J Street, Modesto. In addition, twenty fieve (25) lucky Mothers will win a gift worth $50.00 each. Special entertainment and music is provided by vocalist Bree Noble (our Board Member Ruth McKinsey's daughter), and violinist Richard Melhuish. Tickets are $40.00 each. $25.00 for a visually impaired person and $25.00 for an escort. All net proceeds go for VIPS programs, equipment and scholarships.
08/13/11 Saturday	3nd Annual Keep Moving Forward 5K Run/Walk & New 10K Run	At the Galaxy Theatre in Riverbank. This event is brought to you by the City of Riverbank Department of Recreation. It's a run/walk that will raise money for scholarships for individuals in need of services from VIPS. The $25.00 pre-registration fee includes a "Keep Moving Forward" T-Shirt and goodie bag. Registration is also available on-line at www.active.com. Registration after 8/06/11 will be $30.00.
